Inspired by the uncluttered aesthetics of classic Shaker furniture, French designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec designed the Passerelle Desk an updated interpretation sharing the same simplicity and quality in a more contemporary context. With a well-balanced, flat-packed construction, the tabletop features solid wooden edges and top surface in veneer, laminate or linoleum, with the core made of Lisocore an advanced, high-quality material that offers great strength yet is extremely light and easy to move around. The under construction is equally robust and functional, with the solid wooden frame and aluminium and steel crossbar positioned just off centre for extra chair space and mobility. The Passerelle Desks variety of material and colour options amplify its multifunctional quality, making it equally suitable for using as a desk in a home office, or a workspace in a corporate environment.
–Tabletop: 34 mm Lisocore tabletop with laminate, linoleum or veneer. 7 mm tabletop edge in solid wood. Veneer tabletop has 70 mm cross stitched veneer on short ends.
Frame: Water-based lacquered solid wood frame, veneered plywood upright with solid wood edges. Crossbar: Powder coated extruded aluminium and solid steel bolt. Adjustable.
– Knock-down frame construction. Tabletop with pre-mounted crossbar in aluminium and steel. Leg sections mount to tabletop and crossbar with screws. Tabletop is levelled by using included wrench. Requires assembly.
